I am really pleased to say that the beginners workshop will be returning on the 17th of July 2021, and we are booking the limited places now.

There are 3 time slots available to book throughout the day, with only 2 places in each time slot.

With these small numbers it means there will be a lot of shooting time with the model and lots of time to ask questions, and experiment.

This workshop is designed for beginners to the studio.

It is also designed to be very hands on, so as well as learning about the studio lights, working in studio, working with a model etc.. you will also come away with some exciting images for you portfolio.

The key areas that this workshop will cover are:

• Camera settings, white balance, setting up the triggers.

• We will look at 2 main lighting setups, and how making slight varations to these setups can make big changes to the look of your images. You will get to take away a printout of the lighting setups as well.

• Composition - Framing your image, using props etc.

• Working with a model.  The importance of working together with a model, good communication and helping each other to get the best possible images you can.

Because the numbers are set at the reduced amount of just 2 people in each time slot, this creates plenty of space to social distance.

The studio is also well ventilated with 4 very large windows running along one wall.
